Hello, Mr. Poe Sorry it has taken so long to contact you. I think of you often. Just the thought of you brings a smile to my face. Kind of weird cause I hardly know you. I wanted to let you know you really changed my life. I see thing so different now. Before I came to Alabama I felt so burden with guilt. I have a lot of things I have not dealt with in my life and I just felt what was to point of asking for the burdens to be lifted or for forgiveness when I probably was going to ”mess up" again. A Crazy thing happened to me on my fight home to Austin. During the flight from Huntsville to Houston, I was so nervous because I only had a 30min lay over to get myself and my 2 kids (6 & 17months) across the airport for my next flight to Austin. So all I could do is pray that I get though this (maybe make it a little easy, OK maybe I was asking for to much HA HA). So we land and we are late, now I have 15 minutes to get my gate. We get off the plane and I begging my son to run. He is crying because he has an awful headache. Honesty I have ever seen my son refuse to run until this day. So a lady came up behind me and picked him up and started running with me to help me get to my gate. All of the sudden a guy dress like he worked at the airport calmly walked up to up and said " Ladies it going to be OK, your going to make you flight" We looked at him like he had lost his mind, of course we reply with " are you kidding we have 10 min before my flight leaves. As we get to the train we miss it. (Remember I prayed for this to be easy :), The guy still very calmly insist everything was going to be fine. We get on the train and he sits next to my son and was telling him to take care of his mommy and to be a big boy for me. It this point we are at about 5 min until the flight leaves. We leave the train; he still calmly is walking next me as I was running. Still insisting for me not to worry. I turn to thank to lady for helping me, she left for her gate and I turn to him and say " Thanks you so" he stops me by holding his hand up, and said " don't worry we all heard you" as he pointed up. He gave me this look like I knew exactly what he was talking about. Then he turns and walks away. I suddenly felt that God was with me, even if I don't know it!! I know in my heart that was an angel sent to me. I just want to tell you this neat story. I hope you are doing well. Thank you for being you. You are a wonderful man!! I'm sure you hear it all the time, but know it is really coming from my heart!!

Bro. Poe I wanted to write and give you my victory report. My name is Dena Bumgarner and I attend Royalwood. I think you will remember me, but if you don't you will enjoy my victory report anyway! I have been attending Royalwood since 1997. My husband was a backslider and I had never been in church. We came and he prayed back through, but I on the other hand wasn't so sure about all this! I was pregnant and you started preaching a revival at our church towards the end of the year. During your revival, I got baptized. I prayed that night but didn't get the Holy Ghost and was actually pretty upset about it. You saw that I was upset and came over to talk to me and I will never forget what you told me. You used a demonstration that is very simple, but has helped me when I was at my very lowest points. You held out your handkerchief and said "this is the holy ghost, if you want it get it!" So I slowly took the handkerchief out of your hand...and you said.."No, if you want something from God, you have push past everything and grab it, and not be timid." I soon received the Holy Ghost after that conversation. I said all this to say, that may seem simple and I am sure you don't even remember it, but I have faced many hard times since that conversation. My husband backslid at the end of 2000, and just prayed back through the weekend after TOR this year. I have pushed forward and continued my walk with God through some horrible things...and God has strengthened me and taught me many valuable lessons. Those words have helped me push through some very trying times, when I thought my marriage was over and my family was done! I wanted to share this with you, because I know that you and Sis Poe have faced some low times in your ministry and felt like everyone was against you, but you kept on going..just like you told me to do..and God has and will continue to bless you for it. Thank you for your ministry! I hope that you and Sis Poe and your children have a wonderful holiday season. We will continue to pray for your ministry.

Bro. Poe, Well, I have been listening to and re-reading over and over your teachings on spiritual warfare, it has greatly helped me get the concepts into my mind about how to bind and loose, how to discern spirits that work together, and how Satan uses our natural emotions to try and control us, just to name a few things. About a month ago, the Lord really began laying my sister, Shelly, and her husband, Bud, on my heart. I have prayed for them before, but I was really feeling a strong burden to fast and pray for them. My sister, Angela, in Chicago, also began feeling the same thing around the same time. We began fasting together on the same day each week, and using spiritual warfare to bind and loose spirits in their lives. They both have a lot of emotional issues, and my brother in law uses marijuana, and has really no skills in coping with life. My sister really doesn't either, but she has become a Jehovah's Witness in the last several years, and relies heavily on their teachings of "self-control". Angela and had both begun to feel a door opening for them, because for years, trying to talk with my sister specifically would just drive her further away (through the years she has had a very negative concept of Pentecostals, due to things she saw and experienced growing up). Well, Sunday night, my mom called and told me that my brother in law and sister had been having arguments over the weekend, and Bud was trying to tear the house apart, so Shelly lured him outside. She managed to get back inside and lock the doors, and then he put a noose in a rope and tried to hang himself. He is very tall, and the branch wasn't high enough to break his neck. Yesterday, two days after the incident, he was awake, and was able to recognize everyone, and was trying to hug everybody, which is a great sign that there is no brain damage. I can't imagine what could have happened if my sister and I hadn't been sensitive to God's nudging. We had been praying for the opportunity to talk to him (he has never had any association with Pentecost, except the negativity from my sister). Angela and I believe that this was an answer to prayer, and that our sister will be saved through the change she sees in Bud's life when he comes into the truth. She has always put a lot of trust in medications, and believes wholeheartedly in psychology, and all of that other garbage. We are praying that her eyes will be opened when she sees that no doctor has been able to cure him emotionally, but that Jesus Christ not only can, but will. Another way this has been a blessing is that through telling others how it has been helping me, several people are wanting your CD. I've also needed to ask you about the number of messages you preached. The case I have only has three CD's, but it seems as if I remember you teaching more. I remember one lesson when you taught on fear specifically, but you taught in the annex, and so I do not know if it was recorded or not. I would not want to miss anything. But one thing is for sure: I am convinced that EVERYONE needs this series, regardless of what form it is in! It is something that needs to be listened to or read over and over again. Thank you once again for your ministry. Only eternity will truly be able to tell the overall impact you have made!!!

Brother Poe I wrote to you recently and I just wanted you to know that I had a DVD of you preaching the message “Living In A Haunted House”. I made a copy of this DVD and gave it to one of my brothers at church two weeks ago and on 6-7 which was yesterday during the preaching I mean right in the middle of it he went to the altar and laid all his medications on the alter and said that JESUS anointed message changed his life. What a confirmation of the LORD JESUS working powerfully through you and defeating devils.

Dear Brother Gordon Poe, Let me start off by telling you that I have been making copies of your message: ' Living in a Haunted House' and that I would like to pay you for this. Let me know how much I will owe you... Now the GOOD part: On December 7, 2000 my three month old son ' Ethan Mack Barnett ' died. This came as a great shock to me and my wife. I blamed myself for this because of past sins I had committed. As a result of needing time off to grieve I was replaced at my job. My former employer even tried to deny my unemployment benefits. With no money to speak of and the bills still coming on time it wasn't long before I was being sued by collection companies for what I owed. So my wife and I filed bankruptcy. The grief and guilt became too much for me to bear and on May 18, 2001, I was sent to the state mental hospital. I was inside that place for more than two weeks. When they released me I was diagnosed with MAJOR DEPRESSION and sent home heavily medicated. At that time my wife was teaching first grade at our church's Christian school. I went with her and while she would teach in class I would go to the sanctuary and find a safe place to lie down and sleep. As far as I knew or anyone else did my life was over. But GOD began to change me. At the beginning of this year 2006 I was given the opportunity to preach for the first time in my church. My message or testimony was about changing someone in the church this year, ME. Brother Poe, I want you and everyone to know that last night I was DELIVERED from that depression, from the bondage that held me. And I also want you to know that it was connected to your message ' Living in a Haunted House ...' it held the word of confirmation for me. Please do not get mad at my copying your message and giving it to others. GOD used YOU to help me !!! I have to tell others, I am compelled. As I stated before I will GLADLY pay you, to me IT IS WORTH IT..... THANK YOU, and may GOD bless your Ministry and Life.

Bro. Poe, I'm writing this e-mail with a thankful heart for what God has done in our church since you've been here. I knew there were spirits that had to be loosed in the spirit and things of our flesh that had to be surrendered to. What you have taught and preached to us has opened our spiritual eyes and I believe our church will never be the same..Hallelujuah! I truly know that God has desired to take us higher and higher but we have held back for a time as a church for some reason or another. Not anymore! Spiritual bondage has been loosed and victory proclaimed. We've had many people baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost during a recent Crusade. There is such a spirit of liberty that I have not since felt since I've been attending the Pentecostal Lighthouse for the past 24 years. I personally have made more of spiritual commitment and have given up some things that I thought were "harmless" in itself.

Bro. Poe, Thank you for your sensitivity to the spirit and being "spirit-led" rather than human led. I pray for God's anointing to continually be upon you and your family. Dear Brother Poe, First of all thank you for coming to our church in Visalia. We pray that you continue feeling better. My name is Fidel F. Mazon, My wife is Patti Mazon You prayed for my wife and I, and our 6 kids up at the Altar at Pastor Mcphail's church last weekend. What a tremendous blessing it was, and a renewing and a re-focusing of our walk with the Almighty. We continue to move forward. My wife and I have had some rough times with Marcos, our 16 year old you spoke to and showed him your scars.. He is a tough headed young man. We know that God wants to use him in a mighty way, and we also know he is being tugged on the other end by the enemy! Sometimes we don’t know what to do, except for Pray and let God deal with him. Your ministry has really blessed our family and our church. Through this revival our kids have improved their attitudes toward us and about going church; they rarely gave us any hassles about coming to revival. We know this has helped us all. On another subject, 5 weeks ago when you arrived, at one of the Altar calls, I asked the Lord to open doors for a financial blessing or opportunity. I have been wanting to open my own mortgage company, because that is what I do for a living, give people loans on their homes for refinancing or for purchasing a home. You preached about planting seeds and giving 11%. I did and soon after, the offers began, I have had offers to open up my own business from brokers that just started appearing from every where, this week I cinched a deal with one of them, I had asked the Lord for a building with 5 offices so that I could hire 4 others, and guess what, A friend gave me a paper with a listing of offices and smack dab in the middle was a building with 5 office within. My wife and I went to look at it and it was perfect. I filled out the lease application and it was approved today... We will be opening up by March 1, 2006. Praise the Lord.. I don’t understand how it’s all happening, but I am comfortable and feel a Great Peace about it. We needed to hear about sanctifying our house not only spiritually but physically, today we sold our 55 inch Panasonic Monitor,{ so we so called it,} IT WAS a T.V. Gone. We have also talked to the boys about sanctifying their rooms of Hell Music and Posters and Pictures.. They have agreed to do it! Hallelujah!!!!P.S. I have asked the Lord for 10 MILLION DOLLARS. When he gives it to me, I want to be the one to give you 1 Million.Thank you Brother Poe for letting God use you to help others in need of Spiritual Guidance. Dear Brother Poe, Last night, the fifth of November, I attended Victory Tabernacle with a friend of mine. I was a guest, and it was my first time in a Pentecostal Church. I sat on the front row and listened to you preach, and you really touched my heart. I have always been open to God, but for the past fifteen years of my life I have felt so small in this world that I didn't really believe that I had a purpose...just another person out of the six billion on the planet. Last night I was overcome with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues. It was a truly spiritual moment and it will stick with me the rest of my life. After that, I was so overpowered by the love of God and the truth in your words that I decided to become baptized that night. I have thoroughly enjoyed your messages, but most of all I have been inspired to go higher in the calling in which I have been called. Outside of being in the choir, I have been involved in death row ministry since March of this year. God is opening doors in Mansfield, OH and ushering in His Word and using chaplains and pastors (UPCI) to reach out to death row inmates. Brother Poe, While you were here doing a revival at our church I believe I sat front row most every Sunday night service with my best friend Ashley. We were called out what felt like several times as one of your examples in front of the church one of the last services you preached here I was one of the young ladies called up to the front and slain in the spirit. Well, I am writing you because the last service you held at our church I was ill. I had a terrible stomach ache and had all day long. I attended church and sat in complete agony the whole service. Well the alter call was a jumping and running one, so I didn't feel much like participating but you had said we would receive our blessing the next day. I have been praying for a job since July and it has been difficult for me, while not having one. I am 17 and I live here with my sisters attending the private school. I pay for myself to attend so I was afraid with not having a job I wouldn't be able to attend anymore and it is my senior year. well I decided to sacrifice my pain and jump to show God my faith. After service I was in so much pain I was in tears the next day. Ii left school early because I was still sick and I went home to sleep. I was wakened by the telephone and it was a manager at a place I had recently applied at. She requested an interview with me the next day and I received the job. Since I have been there for almost a week and a half I have had many chances to witness and tell my co-workers about my church. I just wanted to let you know and thank you for being such a good preacher. I plan to someday become a missionary to South Africa and I hope to be as anointed as you are, so I can make an impact through God's word to souls just like you do.

Brother Poe my husband and I were visiting Stockton while you were preaching there and were very touched by your message. My husband had only been in church for about a year just after he got out of jail. Something got stirred up inside him when he was there. He got a lot of your DVD's and began to watch them. Through listening to you your testimonies the Holy Spirit began to work in his life. He has had break through after break through. He received the Holy Ghost for the first time back at our home church (SLF Pastor Jeff Gardner) the week after you left Stockton. He's life has changed in a way he never thought possible. I just wanted to briefly share a testimony of God's gift of healing that my wife, Ann, received. She was miracously healed from lupus disease, which would leave her helpless to the relentless pain in her joints. Medications were limited in success and the pain would always return. All of this changed on the summer of 2003 revival at Royalwood with pastor Macey. During one of the powerful services, my wife received her healing. Brother Poe when he visited the Pentecostals Of Weslaco, I got baptized in Jesus Name. I was 12 years old and that is when I decide that Jesus was not pleased the way I was living so I changed my ways. When I was 14 on fathers Day this year, back at my church I gave it my all and trusted god was going to bless me with the holy ghost and allow me to speak in tongues. Bro. Poe, I just wanted to let you know about a miracle I have received this week. My family goes to Eva, but I live out of town and I go to my father-in-law's church in Tuscaloosa. When my husband is on nights, and we are not having service, I have been going to the revival at Eva. Bro. Wilbanks said the other night that God was truly blessing the people that have been supporting the Revival. I know I have not attended near as much as I have wanted to but God has been blessing me anyway!! I am a substitute teacher and my husband and I figured out that in order for us to make ends meet, I had to work ten days a month. In December, I only worked two days, in January five days, this month (after going to revival) I am scheduled for 10 and a half days so far!! Also, I have been worried about other financial obligations, but today I just told God that I didn't know how He was going to do it, but He was just going to have to take care of this need. I even told Him that it would be nice to get an extra paycheck. My husband just called from work to let me know that he is getting paid for .2 of an hour for the past 2 years backpay, which equals EXACTLY what an extra paycheck, would be!!! In our town, there is an old Service Merchandise building right next to a super Wal-Mart. I went today and anointed with oil and claimed it for the sight of our new church!! If God can pay my bills when I KNEW that there was no way, HE CAN DO ANYTHING!! I am so grateful. Keep on Bro. Poe...Your doing it right! Thanks!

It was last year you were at Woodlawn. I don't remember the title of the message, but it was on "ask, and you shall receive, knock and it shall be opened". You ask everyone that had a need to come to the front. My husband and I came in faith. We had a financial need. You told my husband his blessing was on the way.

My husband works offshore. He went back to work the next week. When he got there, they had moved him up in position, and making $2.00 more dollars an hours. Also the same week, I got a $1.00 raise. My husband had only been with this job 2 months. It was totally unexpected. I had just got a small raise a few weeks earlier. My boss came to me, and said I had been doing such a wonderful job; she wanted to give me a better raise.

It was 5 years ago on April 4, 1996 when the Lord blessed my husband and I with triplets, two daughters and one son. One day after their birth, Grace, the youngest of the three, passed away from a heart condition and Kati and Jacob were left in the NICU to continue their journey to become healthy and leave the hospital. It wasn't but a short time late when the doctor's notified us that Kati had a grade 2-3 brain bleed they were monitoring. We were told the bleed would affect her motor skills, along with walking and talking. Since we had already gone through the trauma of losing a child we did not want to publicize that there was anything wrong with another one of our children. Kati and Jacob continued to thrive and were brought home from the hospital almost seven weeks after their birth. We were told to bring Kati back to the hospital for her follow-up brain scan six weeks after they came home. They would continue every 2 months scanning her to see what, if any, changes had occurred. The bleed would take up to a year for the doctor's to monitor and see how it was going to affect Kati. In general - this was going to be a long process. On Sunday, July 15, 1996 my mother and sister were spending the weekend with us and came to church that night to help with Kati & Jacob. Bro. Poe was preaching that night and during the alter service I was standing at the back pew by my children. I watched as he (Bro. Poe) paced back and forth across the front and finally he turned and walked back and stopped and looked directly at me. All I could think was "Oh - not me!" -- I get so embarrassed to be called out. Then he said it ... "Shelli, why don't you come up here and get a blessing while your mom and sister are here to watch the kids." I hesitated for a moment and looked behind me to see if the other Shelli in our church was anywhere near me... maybe he was talking to her. Not so - it was me. I turned and thought, ok Lord - here I go. When his hand touched my forward all I can remember is a warm flooding my soul. The one thing that stuck out in my mind was something he had said while praying for me. He told me that the Lord was going to touch my life and that to be thankful for the Lord had blessed me with a healthy child. All I kept thinking was I have two healthy children... why did he say just one? The next day I had to go to work and my mother and sister took Kati for her checkup. After her scan the dr. came out and couldn't release any information but to the parents and we were not there. When mother called me at work she said the dr. just kept saying, "Is this the same child?" He had all of her previous scans and just kept saying the same thing over and over to the technician. It wasn't long after that we found out that the bleed was completely gone! -- Yes -- completely gone! Our pediatrician and the neonatologist both were speechless. All I could say was Thank the Lord. That Wednesday night we were back at church and in walked Bro. Poe. He stopped to speak and I said to my husband, "Have you told him what happened?" Keven said no and started to tell him when Bro. Poe stopped him in mid sentence and said - "Wait, I want to tell you something first." He (Bro. Poe) went on to say that he didn't know what we were about to tell him, but he had something to tell us. He said when he was walking across the platform on Sunday night the Lord spoke to him and said for him to go to the other side and pray for someone. When he turned and walked back across he stopped and look up and I was standing at the back of the church. He called my name and I hesitated. He asked if I remembered. I told him yes and that I was looking to see if he was truly talking to me. He asked me to come forward and I did. He said when I started walking down the isle the Lord spoke to him and said, "I just healed her child because she obeyed!" I started crying at that point and Keven told him what had just happened on Monday at the hospital!!! I will never forget that moment -- Bro. Poe did not know about Kati, but the Lord did and the Lord was merciful and gracious and healed her little body at only 3 1/2 months old. A year and a half later we were expecting another child - our second son, John. I had just been to the doctor on a Friday and was given unexpected news. The doctor was fairly certain that the child I was carrying had the same fatal heart condition of our daughter Grace. Being put under the stress all over again my body went into pre-term labor and I was told to go to bed. Sunday morning Bro. Poe was going to be at church so I went. I was fine until the alter call when I started contracting. I was only 4 1/2 months at the time. Bro. Poe had already walked out the side door going to the office when he came back into the sanctuary and walked my way. I could not stand to my feet. He laid his hand on my head and I remember his prayer to this day -- he rebuked the pain and suffering and instantly it was gone - he went on to pray that I have a completely normal pregnancy with no complications. At this time he did not know what the Dr. had told us just 2 days prior. After church I told him what had happened and that I wasn't even supposed to be out of bed. He looked me square in the eyes and said - "Shelli, Do Not Be Afraid! - the Lord will Not Fail You!" It was like a bolt of lightening - and I believed it with everything in me. We went for all of the additionally testing on Monday. Due to my previously complicated history the head of OB/GYN was the one doing the tests. I just kept thinking about what Bro. Poe had told me - "No Fear". The Dr. began to smile and looked at us and said the most precious words - "Looks like you have a HEALTHY son!" John was born without complications 3 1/2 months later and is a very healthy 3 1/2 year old today. We serve a Mighty, Mighty God!!!

I am from the church in Eva. I have been checking your website waiting for the testimonies to flood in about all that God did at the Hope Rally. I haven't seen any yet, so I thought I would write and let you know a few things myself. My husband received the Holy Ghost close to a year ago and was Baptized in Jesus' name. I would like to say that he was totally changed, but to be honest it's been a slow go. But I have seen a change in him especially since the Hope Rally. He has had a boldness to come over him like I have never seen! When he saw that woman get up out of her wheel chair and walk around that auditorium, his faith skyrocketed! He has a hunger in him that wasn't there before. Another thing happened. We are doing follow-ups on the people that filled out a HOPE card. My mom went for her follow-up. This couple had brought there granddaughter to the Hope Rally. She was a baby and her eyes could not focus on anything. They would go in different directions. They said they were going to have to do surgery to keep her eyes straight. But God healed her at the Hope Rally and her eyes have been straight every since! We appreciate yours and your family's sacrifice, and we appreciate you letting God use you.

You were recently at Bro Bookers and my father and mother were here in town to see the doctors at Loma Linda medical center because my dad has cancer of the right lung. My parents live in Sula Montana. I believe that Jesus not only healed his body but more important,He received the holy ghost and was baptized in Jesus name and my mother is seeking the Holy ghost. IN JANUARY OF THIS YEAR (2001) I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER. THE DR. TOLD ME THAT HE HAD NEVER SEEN THIS PARTICULAR CANCER IN ANYONE MY AGE BEFORE. THIS TYPE OF CANCER (ADENOCARSINOMA OF THE CERVIX) WAS NOT THE TYPICAL CANCER OF THE CERVIX. IT IS AN AGGRESSIVE CANCER THAT CAN SPREAD THROUGH THE BODY RAPIDLY. CONSIDERING I WAS NINE YEARS BEHIND ON MY ANNUAL TESTS, THE DOCTORS WERE CONCERNED THAT THE CANCER MAY HAVE ALREADY SPREAD IN OTHER PLACES INCLUDING MY LYMPH NODES AND OTHER GLANDS.

WHILE GETTING MY MEDICAL RECORDS TOGETHER, WE FOUND AN ERROR FROM FOURTEEN YEARS AGO. IT WAS A TEST THAT HAD CAME BACK WITH ABNORMAL CELLS. SOMEHOW OR ANOTHER THE DR. HAD OVERLOOKED IT!!!!!!! KEEP IN MIND THE CANCER I HAD IS AGGRESSIVE. THIS CONCERNED US EVEN MORE; AT THIS POINT WE WERE REALLY CONCERNED THE CANCER HAD SPREAD.

THE DOCTORS PREPARED ME FOR SEVERAL DIFFERENT SURGERIES AND CHEMOTHERAPY. THEY WOULDN'T KNOW WHERE ALL IT HAD GONE UNTIL THEY WENT IN FOR SURGERY. I WAS SCARED! I KNEW I NEEDED PRAYER AND NEEDED TO BE PRAYED FOR. YOU HAD PREACHED A REVIVAL FOR US A SHORT TIME EARLIER AND ENDED UP HOLDING A HEALING RALLY! I PLAYED THE TAPES OVER SEVERAL TIMES. YOU SAID "IT IS NOT GOD'S WILL FOR HIS CHILDREN TO BE SICK AND THAT WE SHOULD REBUKE THE DEVIL! " WELL, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I DID OVER AND OVER. I ALSO FOUND THE SCRIPTURES IN THE BIBLE TO BACK IT UP. YOU SAID GOD IS NOT A LIAR AND THAT IF WE PRAY WITH FAITH AND STAND ON THE WORD OF GOD WE WILL BE HEALED! YOU DIDN'T SAY WE MAY BE HEALED. YOU SAID WE WOULD BE HEALED. I ALSO HAVE A WONERFUL CHURCH FAMILY THAT WERE PRIVILEGED ENOUGH TO HEAR YOU PREACH. I BELIEVE THEY PRAYED THE SAME WAY I DID. (JUST THE WAY YOU TAUGHT US TO.) I HAD MY SURGERY, MUCH SMALLER THAN WHAT WE WERE PREPARED FOR, AND GUESS WHAT????????? NO CANCER!!! I HAD HAD TWO BIOPSIES EARLIER THAT SHOWED CANCER AND NOW THER WASN'T ANY CANCER TO BE FOUND! THANK YOU JESUS!
